TEAM SELECTION CRITERIA
INTERNATIONAL
MONDIORING CHAMPIONSHIPS
USMRA
International Team members must be members in good standing in
USMRA.
Team
member must be a resident of the United States, having resided there for at
least the previous two years.
The
dog must have resided in the United States for the previous 12 months.
The
dog must be registered with an F.C.I. recognized registry.
In
order to follow the FCI regulations, the participating male dogs must have 2
visible normal testicles placed in the scrotum.
The
handler must have owned and trained with the dog for a minimum of the previous
six (6) months, with preference going to owner/handler trained dogs in the
event of a tie.
The handler must have competed with the dog and received a passing score in
their level at a minimum of one USMRA trial in the current competition year.
Preference will go to teams having received MORE THAN ONE passing score
at different USMRA trials at that level and competition year.
The team must be willing and able to shoulder the expense of traveling to and
from the competition or will accept the responsibility for local fundraising
activities. The USMRA will
attempt to garner member support and gain financial sponsorship from
interested corporations, but this should not be construed as a guarantee for
financial relief. To be considered for the International Team, an applicant
must submit all relevant documents to the International Team Committee by
August 1st.
All entries must be received by the International Organizing Committee within
the host country no less than five weeks before the Championships.
